Extended Practice Brief #4: [Nanyang Day 7] *Presentation Day

After bringing all our collateral together we presented to Amber, Simon, Andrew and Nick.

Final Presentation
We presented our presentation by setting it up in the year 2100 by showing examples of what has happened from the year 2020 e.g. flood in Leeds and Singapore and Venice and we imagined how people have adapted to these changes, hence why we have come up with the tour agency idea.
We also clearly stated what the goal we are to solve (CLIMATE ACTION) as it was one of the feedbacks that we got, and we split up the parts according to who did the collateral.

Overall, it was a good presentation I think, and everyone did really well in explaining the parts that they have done.

WWW:

  • We also did a better job in presenting our idea and everyone got the message of our presentation and why we chose the tone of voice and methods that we had.
  • Variety of outcomes was impressive considering the amount of time we had to make them.
  • Idea is unique and really interesting.
EBI:
  • Could be expanded to a game development/ app as well?
  • Design decisions could be further considered e.g. waterproof stock, is there a need for a physical outcome?
  • Images could've been more 'time accurate' e.g. actually put images of the cities being submerged, as it could be quite confusing if photos from 2020 of before submersion are marketed to the audiences.
Thoughts & Reflections:

We did earn 2nd place-ish which I was satisfied about considering the amount of time we had to create all the collateral that we had for our idea. It was also a really good collaboration and was really fun and interesting to see how people forma  different country and course tackle a brief and present to an audience. If given another opportunity like this, I would definitely do it again.
