My Problem
- I don't want Ruban's brand and identity to look really cliche but at the same time I want the design to clearly showcase her and her style as a photographer.
Feedback:
- Her photography and her portfolio are her portfolio.
- Be more subtle about it.
- Be more adamant about the direction of the collaboration – it's not necessarily making what she wants, but making what is appropriate an effective for her (and it is not necessarily what she wants too)
- Be more persuasive and direct her to something more appropriate.
- It's looks too much like a children's brand, too soft the colours don't really match the vibe.
How I'm Tackling This
- Create a better direction for the style and visual of the brand
- be more subtle
- Do other ideas, and state why they are a better option when showing it to her
- Lack of colour may be better
Thoughts & Reflection:
Overall, it was a really good crit, not only did I get helpful feedback but I also got to see other peoples work and briefs which was really varied and interesting, I also liked how some people presented their work and how detailed they talked about there work (Liam) which gave them really nice conversations and feedback from us and Nick, as this is something that I really lack so I also want to take some pointers from them and apply it to how I present my work to get sufficient and more helpful feedback too.
