Paper (Canford)
- Gunmetal
- Dreadnough Grey
WWW:
- It's a very subtle emboss which is good as a nice finish texture to the business card.
- Both papers work really well in highlighting the embossing
Need to Refine:
- Logo laser cut and design needs to be slightly bigger in order for the design to be laser cut properly as they are too small and are getting burnt off completely during the process.
- Have to take out small text on the logo (Photography) on the curve shape to make it simplier and avoid burns
- Need to make it centred on the actually logo printed on the back of the business card?
- Make the email, phone number and insta handle bigger, its awkwardly small to read
Thoughts & Reflection:
I thinks it's an okay attempt so far, it was quite hard to centre the plate on the actual paper so some of the prints are over layed, also it's good that I've tested it on similar paper size and weight that I want the business card to be in so I have a better idea of how big I need to make the embossing again. Also, I think another reason why it's not embossing as well is because I'm not wetting the card stock, but I have no choice since it has text so I'll have to make do. I'll have to show it to Ruban and what she thinks and ways in improving it.
