Extended Practice Brief #5: First Meet Up [Nina X Graphic Design]

I finally met up with Nina and got all the details on what she wanted me to create for her:

• Use Nina Lou as main name for business card
• Business Card
• Watermark
• Logo
• Something curvy, neat and simple, playful
• Bright and colourful but still muted – pastel colours
• NO GREEN
• Include a feather (something personal for her)
• Variations of logo?

Thoughts & Reflection: 

After meeting up with her, I kind of got the idea of what she wanted and she also showed me the kind of photography she does (Fashion, fine art, commercial) so knowing that i have to make sure the logo is quite general at the same time still correspond to her and her personal style and brand. We've decided to keep in contact through Instagram and share a pinterest board so we both know the visuals we are leaning towards and what we don't want at the same time so it's easier for me and her to communicate our ideas as well.
