What she wants:
- Business card
- Travel related or inspired
- Maybe by train ticket of passport etc.
My Ideas:
- Business card inspired by train ticket information design
- Looking at her instagram, her work is very calm and 'earthy' so I decided to choose a muted colour 'pale green' to match her tone of voice. s
- Maybe emboss the back of the business card with some of her negatives (as she mentioned during the Photography X Graphic design Collab that she paints on them) it'd be a nice way of introducing her style on her business cards.
- Serif type implying traditional stye (analog photography) while Sans serif considers the simplistic and calm tone of her photography style.

Initial Ideas
- Portrait Style – Simplistic Design and appropriate to showcase embossing pattern on the back.
- San serif type (Sofia Pro Regular 22 pt) - inviting, friendly yet quiet and tonal, fits with the muted aesthetic style.
- Stamp motif (not necessarily a logo but can be a prominent illustration to the business card designs), shows her interest in travel photography in a direct way.
- Landscape Style – more traditional business card design
- Subtle reference to train ticket design with how the information are laid out on the page.
- 'RBN KTN' for example, a direct inspiration from the location short initials on train ticket and boarding passes.
- style wise its the most familiar which may be effective to not go overboard with the design.
- Again, landscape but contemporary
- Minimal and irregular grid, makes good use of the white space
- Feels really spacy and airy; looks sophisticated and high end
- Feels more corporate than freelance though.
Along with these initial ideas I also have ideas for possible publication design that we could collab on e.g:

FFaswin Magazine

Cereal Magazine

Gold Dust
- Looking more towards documentary photography e.g. Gold dust Publication or more editorial with Cereal Magazine inspo
- Sleek and clean
- Full Bleed photos or more irregular layers
Thoughts & Reflections:
I think it'll be a substantial amount to show and start our collab so I can get an idea of what kind of style she is actually looking for, as well as show to her how I work and what I want from this collab as well. Hopefully, it'll go well and we get started with this collaboration asap.
