Baybayin in Modern Filipino Media and Society
Baybayin is used and can be seen written on the new Filipino bills such as the 20, 50 and 100 Peso
bills. The word translates to "Pilipino".
Recently, Baybayin is slowly being used in film and media such as recent films like in the above. Although, it's not as prominent, it is slowly being introduced, in translated typography; but this maybe because the majority of Filipino's can't read the script yet. As it's slowly being introduced in the education system, more Filipinos will hopefully be legible in the alphabet and the script will hopefully be used more often in the media.
It is important to note that, it has been subtly used in earlier and long running regular TV shows, however as it wasn't as 'popular' and well-known it's not been recognised by the public as much,
