This is a draft version of the practical brief that I've written:
- I've kept it very open and broad it terms of production methods like digital, print based mediums because as of now I'm not sure about how I'm going to create it yet.
- However, the intent is specified and focused in order to set concrete parameters to what my content should be, and I think the content will inform the form of the design as I research anyways therefore I will probably keep it this way?
- Studio Deadline I've kept to the week before the Module Deadline as Amber mentioned a final crit on the week starting the 2nd, in this week I'll aim to do final refinements and evaluation on the final outcome.
I was struggling writing the brief because I'm still unsure about the actual design medium that I'm going to create the outcome with. However, I figured keeping the medium open but the intent and content specific will help me start the practical research process and get me started in writing my essay at the same time, instead of wasting my time in thinking about the practical process. Hopefully, I'll get Amber to check my brief and get feedback on whether it's too broad or detached to my topic so I can re-write/ refine it better.
