PPP: Visioning

Today's session was to envision what we want to do, who we want to be and what we want our lives to be in 5 or 10 years time.

It has to be:

• Inspiring
• Detailed
• Documented

RULES

• In 5 or 10 years time
• Dated 7th January 2025 or 2030
• In present tense
• Describe life in RICH DETAIL
• Talk about professional and personal life
• Include everything that's success and happiness for me
• WE DON'T ACHIEVE ALONE! – professional and personal life

I’m living in South Korea in a nice comfy apartment in Gangnam close to the company that I am working - VM Project Architecture. I’m in a stable relationship and be able to go back home to Philippines regularly for holidays. I’m working as the head art and project director for the company, working 9-5 weekdays, fluent in the language leading teams to create trend setting concepts and designs in the Asian Pop and Hiphop industry. Our team is the most sought out design agency by Asian artists all around Asia like 88rising, Kpop and Chinese Pop etc. Jumping the 1 inch barrier of subtitles like the director of Parasite said 10 years ago - Asian music will be normal and within mainstream which also helps the agency gain hype in the West. I’m going to be working with different clients around the world and be able to meet them and talk to them who it their life and work. 

Thoughts & Reflection:

I thought this was a good session to kind of let myself go and think of all the things that I really want to achieve in an ideal world and with the best case scenario. It kind of let me think about places and positions that I wish I will be able to achieve in the span of 10 years or maybe even more (as realistically I know I won't really achieve it in that small amount of time). Although, it was good to visualise and realise the dreams that I can execute in the future for myself and my personal practice.
