I also decided to write my own thoughts of each presentation to help me judge as well as give me insight of things that we missed as a group and things that each group did well and could have done better.
(Notes about each group)
- "Most Memorable" - I picked "Grout" as the most memorable as I thought their unconventional and over the top examples of the word was very funny and it really showed that they had fun to make it themselves which reflected through us audiences.
- "Most Thought Provoking" - I choose "Hinges" as the most thought provoking as I found it really interesting how they managed to make their presentation look and feel really smart and professional at the same time seem like they're just joking around, but in the end it was very effective
- "Can't Wait to Know More" - I picked "Noodle" as the group that I can't wait to more about as I found it really interesting how they found a very unique and original meaning to their word which made it much more intriguing for me.
Feedback for our group (3PM)
- Alternative take on presentation was great
- X- files theme was really strong and interesting
- Very interesting research
- Nice way to build up suspension by posting previews the day before (Instagram post)
- Youtube conspiracy hacked video was achieved
- Documentary format
Thoughts & Reflection:
Overall, I thought we did pretty well on the presentation considering it was an unconventional way of presenting to an audience, we were also glad people actually thought it was funny and was voted the "Most Thought Provoking" by our peers and came in 2nd place overall.
